Everything that decides a fit
in one place

Most fit guides stop at a size chart. DogArmor looks at four things together: what your dog is, how it is built, how it behaves, and what you want to spend.

Mixed breeds get a blend of their closest matches

The model recognizes 118 breeds and names the exact one about four times in five on everyday photos. The right answer is in its top three 97% of the time. If the photo has no dog in it, it says so instead of guessing.

Every pick comes with a why

No black box. Each item shows the reasons it won, the size to order and where to buy it.

DogArmor

Why the Front Range harness for Luna?

  • It has a front clip, which turns her sideways when she pulls. That is the most effective harness fix for pulling.
  • It is built for trails, and you said you hike with her most weekends.
  • Size L fits her 30 inch chest. Check it against Ruffwear's chart before you order.

Sample result. Your answers change the reasons.

Sizes every item to your dog's own measurements, not a guess from a dropdown.

Flags breed safety issues, like head halters on flat-faced dogs or slip-prone collars on sighthounds.

Will it fit?

Usually, yes. And when a photo can't tell us something, we say so.

More questions
How accurate is the breed recognition?

On everyday photos it names the exact breed about four times in five, and the right breed is in its top three 97% of the time. If it picks wrong, choose the right breed from the list and everything updates.

Does it measure my dog from the photo?

Not directly. A single photo has no sense of scale, so a close-up Chihuahua and a distant Great Dane can look the same size. We recognize the breed and build, then estimate measurements from typical adult sizes. If you have a tape measure, enter the real numbers and every size recalculates.

My dog is a mix. Will it still work?

Yes. When the photo looks like more than one breed, we blend the closest matches to estimate size. You can also type in the breed or measurements yourself.

Can I get just a harness, or just a leash?

Yes. Pick the gear you want in the first step of the demo. The budget ranges and the recommendation only cover what you chose.

Do you sell the gear?

No. Each pick links to Amazon and Chewy so you can check the current price and buy wherever you like.

What happens to my photo?

It is analyzed in memory and discarded as soon as the result comes back. We never store it.
